The Juniper Berry

The Juniper Berry magazine has a rich tradition in the communities of Middle Village, Maspeth and Elmhurst. It was first published in 1938. The quarterly magazine is an all-volunteer effort and contains articles on crime prevention, neighborhood issues, meeting reports and notices, neighborhood history and photographs, guest articles, editorials and more.

Kathy Hochul made battery farms legal in NYS and Adrienne Adams bent over backwards to make sure City of Yes passed, which allows them to be placed absolutely ANYWHERE in NYC, including in residential zones. And shovel/maintain YOUR community drives too! Have pride in your community.

I shoveled out my driveway and made sure the sanitation workers have a clear path to my garbage cans. When I had a home with a fire hydrant I made sure that there was no snow around the hydrant for three feet all around it and it was a corner home so I also cleared both walkways to the street. Common courtesy people.

Just a Thought: when they pick up in the community drives they are able to get 2 blocks of garbage at once. Isn't that more expedient?
