Business Spotlight: Le Jardin d'Eve Day Spa

A PIECE OF 5TH AVENUE IN MIDDLE VILLAGE

If you dare to indulge yourself or care to surrender your senses to the point of euphoria, then a visit to Le Jardin d'Eve Day Spa is a must for women and men as well. This enchanted Garden of Eve, located in the heart of Middle Village on 80th Street just off of Eliot Avenue, is a woman's answer to payback time.

You would be hard pressed to find anything of its kind else where in Queens, which is why proprietor Lili Minjanic, herself a longtime resident of Middle Village, chose this little corner of town. "This is what this neighborhood needed," expressed the manager. Le Jardin d'Eve's trademark slogan will be "Sophistication without the Commute," further explained the manager.

The elegance and charm of Le Jardin d'Eve is duly obvious from its hardwood floors, French provincial furniture and dazzling chandelier. From the moment you enter this Eden, with its warm lights, soft music and complimentary coffee, tea or lemoned water your escapism from the trials and tribulations of reality is relegated to the far recesses of your conscience.

With a list of beauty services to rival any salon in Manhattan, passing an entire afternoon at Le Jardin d'Eve may soon become a trend in Middle Village. With a limitless array of services to include facials, anti-aging treatments, slimming body treatments, aromatherapy, massage therapy, electrolysis, wax treatments, manicures, pedicures and make-up consultation, it is understandable how easily hours may be wallowed away being pampered and groomed.

Talking to Linda Williamson of Middle Village, Queens, with her head lolling on a her remote controlled vibrating pedicure chair, a cup of coffee in her hand and Stella expertly working on her spa pedicure, she expressed "I'm in heaven right now." In need of a manicure and pedicure, Linda decided to come into Le Jardin d'Eve and "check it out." She further expressed that "I am quite comfortable. It's very European. I'm tired of sterile places opening up all over the place. This is great for the neighborhood, especially for working women."

Enthusiasms persisted, for while awaiting her manicure, Mrs. Marie B. Lumia, also a resident of Middle Village for 37 years, was effusive in her praise of her new neighbor. "I'm happy, I love this place. It's close to home, you don't have to go to NY and the prices are reasonable."

Le Jardin d'Eve Day Spa is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:00am to 7: 30pm, Saturday from 8:30am to 7:30, and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
