BERRY BITS: Juniper Valley hawks continue to thrive

Tessa Koch took these photos of a Red-tailed Hawk at Juniper Valley Park in early November. The species is native to the area, predating the people living here. Red-tailed hawks primarily eat rats, squirrels and pigeons.
