Sand avalanche in Maspeth! A truck hauling sand tipped over while making a turn from the LIE westbound service road onto Grand Avenue the morning of Thursday, June 26th. It closed down the westbound LIE. No one but the driver was hurt, but it could have been much, much worse. Read More
